Kungsholmen Tennis, founded and managed by former elite tennis player Harris Boutzas, has conducted training in Stockholms Tennishall since 2002.
Today, our player base has expanded to around 500 students each week, and the training we provide is both highly appreciated and in high demand. We have high occupancy in our groups which means all players can find other players with comparable skills to progress and train with.
Our ambition is for students to develop their tennis game and to share our passion for tennis. Joy and sportsmanship are at the core of our training philosophy, and customer satisfaction is always our top priority.
Mini tennis is designed to be a fun and engaging introduction to the sport, for children aged 4-10 years, with age-appropriate and skill-based groups.
The focus is on building fundamental tennis techniques in a safe and social atmosphere, filled with strong camaraderie and plenty of laughter. During practice, a softer ball is used to allow for a quicker mastery of the sport's central aspects.
The soft ball helps provide a solid foundation to encourage proper swinging technique, which is later improved upon and developed for higher-level match play. We work actively to create a safe environment in these groups, to strengthen friendships and to build each player's confidence in their game.
